The other day my son told me he started a blog.
Some little thought kept nagging at me and I told him I thought I had a blog but didn't know how to find it. He told me how to find it and here it is! Yes, this is my blog. I started it last summer when I was still taking Cymbalta and Lyrica for my Fibromyalgia. When I first started reading it I didn't remember writing it. I felt like I was reading something written by a stranger. I vaguely remember it now - and I don't think the writing is bad, in fact, it sounds like something I would write!
This just reinforces and validates that I was right to get off the meds. They didn't help enough to justify the complete and total space cadet that I became. So now I struggle with the pain a little more and am still exhausted most of the time - but at least I am pretty sure I will remember that I have a blog!
The foggy-groggies can be a result of the fibro (fibro fog) or a side effect of medication. For me, it's a bit of both, with a family history of dementia thrown in for good measure.
ReplyDeleteI hope 50 is the new 30, because then I'd be in my 30s not my 50s!
Welcome back to blogging!
